The King’s Memoir Project matches up students, staff, and faculty at Dalhousie with a resident of a retirement home. After a series of meetings and interviews with the resident, they will write their memoir to be compiled in a journal. This is a great opportunity to get off campus and into the community, allowing participants to meet people they might not meet otherwise!
All hockey lovers, beginners, and experts welcome! Come talk hockey, share starts, and, of course, PLAY THE GAME!
The King’s Foreign Film Society is exactly what it sounds like: it’s a place where lovers of foreign cinema can gather together and get lost in a less familiar story. Combine good cheese and beverages on top of it and where else would you like to be?
The King’s Fight Club seeks to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which its members can hone the craft of jiu-jitsu and grappling. Jiu-jitsu is much more than the rule of the strong, and places emphasis on technique and dexterity. We welcome individuals of all skill levels to our club, and are more than willing to train or teach anybody who is new to the sport.
The King’s Music Society fosters the creation and enjoyment of music on campus from open mic nights to musical workshops. Provides opportunities for students to share & learn about music. Along with that, they provide support (publicity, resources, and performance space) for musical events & initiatives led by students.

Stage Managing? Tech work? All of these opportunities are provided by the KTS, where we produce over a dozen shows over the course of our 2 seasons and special performances.
A venue for budding philosophers, authors and the chronically enraged to share their ideas, stories, and beefs. Each issue focuses on a general theme – the end result being somewhere between an academic journal, a rant, and Trekkie fan-fiction.
