KSU Health & Dental Plan Winter Opt IN Deadline: January 22nd.

Winter Opt in for  NEW FT & PT Students 

**THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO STUDENTS WHO BEGAN THEIR STUDIES IN SEPTEMBER 2025.**

Just a quick reminder that  all FT and PT students STARTING their studies in the Winter semester must manually opt IN to the KSU Health & Dental plan if they wish to be covered from January until August 31st, 2026. You can opt in through completing and submitting a paper form or via the online portal . For step by step instructions on how to opt in, please visit the "Opt in, Opt out and Adding Dependants" section on the Health and Dental page of our website.

You can opt in to the Health and Dental plan between January 1st until January 22nd, 2026.

Winter Fees for KSU Health & Dental Plan 

The  total cost to be enrolled in the Health & Dental plan for the remaining of the policy year from January until August 31st (8 months total) is $251.44. This is 2/3 of $377.16, which students pay for 12 months of coverage. The breakdown between Health & Dental is the following:

  • Health Plan: $195.52
  • Dental Plan: $55.92
