The primary responsibilities of the Science Representative include, but are not limited to:

Representing the interests and concerns of Science students, with special effort to inform and involve these students in the King’s Community;
Sitting as a voting member of the Dalhousie Science Society, represent King’s interests as a member of this Society, and report to Council on its proceedings;
Directing involvement of students in issues of an academic nature;
Sitting on the Academic Committee;
Overseeing the Science Society;
Receiving and reviewing a summary of decisions made by the Executive Committee;
Spending at least one hour each week in the King’s Students’ Union office, to answer questions from constituents;
Maintaining good attendance at meetings of the King’s Students’ Union Council;
Performing other such duties as Council may from time to time determine.
