O-Week Coordinators
Looking for 2-3 coordinators who are excited to: Planning O-Week from start to finish; working together and with the President and Exec over the summer (a min. of five office hours per week, with longer hours in August & during O-Week); be responsible for finances, logistics, or designing/art; recruit and train O-Week leaders. Coordinators start May 1st and finish after O-Week. There is a $9,000 stipend to be split between the coordinators for their work.
Chair
The Chair chairs all meetings of the Union, Council, and the Watch Board of Publishers following Robert’s Rules; acts as the interpreter of the Bylaws in the event a constitutional concern or conflict arises; decides on rule-based election appeals; holds 1 office hour per week. The Chair receives a stipend of $2000 total) ($1000 each semester) upon the completion of their duties. *Council typically meets every other Sunday. General Meetings and The WBoP meet once per term.
Scribe
The Scribe records minutes at Council, General Meetings, and meetings of the Watch Board of Publishers; edits the minutes for clarity and accuracy; submits the edited minutes to the Communications VP no later than seven days prior to the following council meeting. The Scribe receives a stipend of $1200 total) ($600 each semester) upon the completion of their duties. *Council typically meets every other Sunday. General Meetings and The WBoP meet once per term.
Chief Returning Officer
The CRO runs all KSU elections and referendums by: Scheduling and advertising nomination and voting periods; supervising campaigning; Chairing Elections Committee. The CRO receives a stipend of $1500 total) ($750 each semester) upon the completion of their duties.
HALP Coordinator
This coordinator is responsible for promoting healthy activity among students – this is a broad category that can & does include physical health, mental health, and community-building/healthy relationships. The HALP Coordinator can do things like schedule recreational activities (ex: dodgeball in the gym); organize mental health workshops or de-stress events; make care packages or meal kits for students (ex: soup kits); research & compile on/off-campus resources; etc! This role is for someone who wants to get more students connected to fun events and habit-building opportunities for their overall wellbeing. This position will start around late August (2025) and end in early April (2026), has a low time commitment, and is paid by stipend. ($500 total, $250 each semester).
